We're Watching God Answer Your Prayers

What an awesome day we are having with Mom.

I'm sitting next to her bedside right now. She has been talking for the past 5 hours. She listened as I read each of the comments that you have left and she wanted to tell me wonderful things about each one of you. You all have lifted Mom's spirits today like you wouldn't believe. Isn't the Body of Christ a beautiful thing?

We're still waiting for Mom to be moved to her room, but the doctors assure us that this will happen by the end of the day. She is looking so well today, that Mom's lung doctor told us that she will most likely be home by the end of the week! How is that for an evacuation plan?

Praise be to God for His amazing work in Mom's life.

I just asked Mom if she wanted to say anything to you and she says, "Thank you! I love you!"

We are praising God with you!!!! After the difficult post, I was not sure what I would find this morning--what a great way to begin my day with not one, but two encouraging blogs! We continue to pray that the enemy would be bound, for complete recovery, for stamina for you, Gordon and Jenny, that Bea will be moved out of ICU today and that the four of you will be able to come home THIS WEEK. Thank you, Lord, thank you. We are grinning from ear to ear over here!!!!

Brian, I can't wait to hear the witness of God's hand in the lives of you, your dad and sister as well as your mother. Each of you are in need of His special touch. Who can separate us from the love of God? Nothing - and He has promised to provide for ALL our needs (even when we don't really know what they might be). Praise God for caring for you as His children caught up in a storm in Istanbul. He knows you are there!

Brian, just read in the Moraine Valley email prayer team about your Mom. So sorry to hear all that has happened, but rejoice with you in the good news recently. I'll be praying for you all.

Dear Schulenburg Family,

This is good news! We rejoice with you and trust we'll continue to hear positive reports.

We heard about Bea's condition as our family prepared to travel to "Moody Week" at Maranatha with Randy and family. I put the prayer request out to the prayer warriors at our church (Westminster Presbyterian, Elgin) before leaving on our trip. I even got a call from our church secretary, saying our interim pastor has a pastor friend in Istanbul. He hoped to connect him with you for a visit there at the hospital. Then, at Maranatha, it warmed my heart to see several of your old friends touching base with Randy periodically to see how things were going. I was reminded of what a privilege it is to be a part of the family of God, praying and supporting one another through difficult times.

Know we'll continue praying and look forward to seeing Bea when she returns home!

Schulenburg Family! Please Tell Miss Bea and Jenny, that Pam dreamed over the weekend that we were all at Fox Valley Bible Church sharing with them about God's amazing delivery from this illness in Turkey. I woke up with complete peace that God would indeed give Miss Bea a mightly testimony with all of this and allow her the joy of sharing it with many! I'm praying for you all! With much love and prayers, Pam Morphis

Dear Bea,
What a blessing to wake up this morning and hear that you are doing so much better. My heart was in so much anguish for you as I prayed last night. I felt so strongly that the confusion was a tool from the enemy. I asked God to help you recall all His promises, Scripture and hymms that were buried deep in the recesses of your mind and heart to help ward off the attacks of Satan. I see today that He has answered that prayer as well as many others.
You and your family have been such an inspiration to me since I was a new believer over 22 years ago. You were one of the very first people I met at Fox Valley Bible and you hold a special place in my heart for the countless times you have been an encouragement to me.
I will continue to keep you and your family in prayer.
Love,
Jerry and Pat
